Vuosiäänestyksen tulokset – 2007


Vuoden 2007 tulokset osoittavat, että on kestosuosikkeja ja vähemmän kestäviä suosikkeja. Puerto Rico palasi ykköspaikalle kahden vuoden tauon jälkeen. Viime vuoden voittaja Caylus löytyi vasta neljänneltä sijalta, Carcassonne putosi jo kuudenneksi. Menolippu romahti sijalle 12 — tosin, jos eri lisäosien saamat äänet lasketaan yhteen, Menolippu olisi jakanut kakkossijaa.

Uusia nousijoita nähtiin. Power Grid ja Thurn & Taxis olivat tämän vuoden nousijat. Uusista peleistä Imperial ja Notre Dame tekivät parhaimman vaikutuksen. Wallensteinin tasaisen suosion perusteella ei liene ihme, että Shogun keräsi varsin komean äänimäärän — osin varmasti Wallensteinin kustannuksella.

144 äänestäjää antoi yhteensä 945 ääntä varsin pitkälle listalle eri pelejä. Äänestäjä- ja äänimäärä on kaikkien aikojen suurin, kiitos siitä kaikille äänestäjille. Kärkipelien äänimäärät jäivät kuitenkin aikaisemmasta, eli äänet jakautuivat entistä laajemmalle joukolle pelejä.

Vanhoista peleistä Princes of Florence on tehnyt paluun, syystä tai toisesta. Pelin äänimäärä oli viimeksi näin hyvä neljä vuotta sitten. El Grandekin näyttäisi taas olevan nousussa.

Äänestyksen ohessa kysyttiin, onko Uudet lautapelit tuttu kirja. Lähes 40 vastaajaa oli tutustunut teokseen.
